A rare 19th century Swedish barrel back sofa settee in the Gustavian style, newly upholstered in linen, circa 1880. Hand scraped to reveal the original paint. The frame has a carvedegg and dart detail, while the front legs are adorned with lotus flowers and rosettes. The arms feature carved ramheads, which are more rare than lionheads.
