A fine pair of late 19th c. Swedish Gustavian style klismos armchairs in original paint. These stunning chairs have barrel backs with carvings of lions’ heads. The chair frame features beautiful, bell flower carvings, the legs are adorned with acanthus leaves, and there are rosettes on the corner posts. This pair has been newly upholstered in antique linen. Richly carved and comfortable.
