The Story:

There is a video of the clock running with chime available upon request. This is a rare Swedish Gustavian period Mora clock with exceptional reeded detail. The original patina is a faded mix of pale white/blue/green/gray paint on the body and aged chartreuse paint around the face with natural wood tones showing through in areas. Circa 1790. Original face, clockworks, pendulum and weights. This clock has been cleaned and serviced and is operating with its original works. A beautiful Mora clock that strikes on the hour with a double bell chime. If you’d prefer that the clock operate without its original movement, a quartz movement can be added for an additional fee. The quartz movement would operate the time and hourly chime, although the chime can be turned off, if desired.
