A Swedish black painted linen press from the Baroque period, circa 1750. This piece is made in five parts for easy of transport (lower base, upper frame, 2 doors, and cornice top). Original cast brass hardware. Beautifully proportioned with a shaped pediment cornice, large raised panel doors, and bracket base. The interior upper section contains three fixed shelves with three small drawers. The upper shelf is slotted for utensils and is removable. The bottom cabinet features two small drawers above one long drawer.
