An important and richly carved Swedish armoire or linen press cabinet from the Baroque period with handsome ball feet, circa 1720, painted a soft, chalky gray with carved diamond detailing on the doors, sides, and drawers. The paint on the inside of the doors is original. The large doors sit above a single drawer and open to reveal three fixed, internal shelves. This is a rare piece with plenty of storage that will elevate any space. As often is the case with these fine 18th century pieces, the cabinet disassembles, which is brilliant and makes moving the cabinet very easy.
