The Story:

A rare and impressive hand-carved cabinet with original brass hardware, Corinthian capitals, and column base escutcheon caps. This 18th c. Dutch oak linen press from the Rococo period has been hand-scraped to the original paint with later paint on the interior, circa 1740-70. This piece has a richly carved cornice and apron with three, shaped, lower drawers, resting on carved paw feet. The gorgeous lapis blue painted interior adds a unique contemporary appeal to the piece. The interior upper section features one fixed, center shelf. This piece is very special and a Maison & Co. favorite!
