A large 19th c. Spanish tin glazed “Lebrillo” with copper green decoration from Granada. A lebrillo is a large ceramic bowl with rim. This bowl was made in the town of Fajalauza in the province of Granada so known as Fajalauza pottery. This terracotta bowl features a green lily flower with decorative sides over a milk-white base. In the past, this bowl was used for household chores such as cooking, washing clothes, and bathing children. Sold with both a hand-forged iron stand and wall-mount hanger.
