A beautiful set of three nesting tables by French Maison Baguès, created with solid bamboo shaped bronze.  The tops are finished with a mirrored églomisé glass set inside the faux bamboo frames. Circa 1950-60.  The technique of making the églomisé mirrors that adorn the Baguès tables dates back to antiquity.  Gold and silver leaf is applied to glass plate and worked with special tools and acids to give a beautiful, marbled appearance.  Dimensions are:

14.5 inches H x 18.57 inches W x 13.5 inches D for the center
13.75 inches H x 17 inches W x 12.13 inches D for the smallest
