A rare pair of Swedish chests from the late Gustavian period with hand-painted marbleized tops trimmed with beaded detail and dentil molding. Each chest has four drawers and brass hardware with original locks and carrying handles. There is a unique Greek key pattern around the top with canted and fluted corners. Each chest has tapered and fluted feet. This is an exceptional pair of chests. Circa 1810.
