An extraordinary, rare size early 19th century Italian trestle dining table in original blue paint with hand-painted detail on the top. Circa 1810. This beautiful table was found in Tuscany and has the most exceptional carving detail. The ends feature carved laurel leaves joined by a central rosette with bellflower carvings on either side.This sturdy table seats eight (four on each side). The inside leg-to-leg width for the sides is 94.5 inches. The apron height is 26.88 inches. The top of the table extends 3.75 inches beyond the lower trim of the apron.
